- The Black Meadow Ridge Property adjacent to the West Point on the Eno City Park consists of 60 acres and is currently being considered for development.
- The Eno River Association believes the property should be protected.
- The Durham City Council, has directed City staff to open discussions w/ NC State Parks regarding transfer of West Point on the Eno Durham City Park to the Eno River State Park, in conjuntion with the protection of the Black Meadow Ridge property.
