The Eno River Association is a nationally accredited land trust serving Durham and Orange counties. You can rest assure that your contributions are supporting an organization that has met rigorous national criteria for its policies and practices and has nearly 50 years of successful experience in land protection, environmental education, and grassroots advocacy.

YOUR SECURE ONLINE DONATION will help us acquire more land for parks, safeguard our drinking water, conserve farms and forests, protect plants and animals, and inspire future generations to value our shared environment. We invite you to consider becoming a member of our Wildflower Society or giving to one of the Special Funds described below. Gifts may be made securely online or mailed to 4404 Guess Road in Durham, NC  27712. We accept checks, credit cards (MC & Visa), or stock transfers. If you have a fund with the Triangle Community Foundation, we encourage you to recommend a grant to the Eno River Association.

Stock transfers can be made to the Association for the Preservation of the Eno River Valley, Inc. at Wells Fargo; DTC Number 0141; Account Number 1212-3780. All contributions are tax deductible.

The Wildflower Society is open to anyone who wishes to exhibit financial leadership with a single or cumulative gift of $500 – $25,000+ within the calendar year. Gifts at this level allow us to be strategic, proactive, and responsive to new land protection opportunities as they arise. Wildflower Society members receive invitations to special events and priority listing in our newsletter unless they wish to remain anonymous.

In addition to offering your general support, donors may also make restricted gifts to the following special initiatives:

  • Margaret C. Nygard Land Acquisition Fund
Supports the purchase of conservation lands anywhere along the Eno River and its tributaries.
  • Allen Lloyd Fund for the Protection of the Upper Eno
Supports the purchase of conservation lands and easements in the Upper Eno River watershed upstream of Hillsborough.
  • Stewardship Fund
Supports the ongoing costs associated with maintaining properties and conservation easements owned or held by the Association, as well as the enforcement and legal defense of its conservation easements.
  • The Confluence Fund
Supports maintenance, improvements, and the ongoing stewardship of The Confluence Natural Area in northern Orange County.
