| The Eno River Association has worked since 1965 to
protect the nature, culture, and history of the Eno River Basin. We
are the only private non-profit working to protect the Eno River.
We operate our land protection program in number of different ways,
including working to expand the holdings of the local and state parks,
as well as working with private landowners to help them protect the
natural, cultural, scenic, and historic resources of their property
while achieving their objectives for their property, including realizing
certain tax and financial benefits. The Association also owns and
manages land throughout Durham and Orange Counties. |

What Types of Properties are Appropriate for Land Conservation?
The Association is interested in protecting a wide range of properties,
whether it’s a 100+ acre farm or a 1-acre tract along the Eno River.
If your property is within the Eno River Basin and has river or stream
frontage, woodlands, fields, or cultural or historical resources, we would
be more than happy to speak with you.
