March 4 – Source of the Eno Pilgrimage
In the Spring of 2000, Riverdave explored on foot the entire forty miles of the Eno River, including all its main tributaries. See: http://theborderlife.com/Source-of-the-Eno.php After careful delineation, he established that a farm pond, on the property of the Hoyt Wright Family in northern Orange County, to be the most distant source of the Eno River as measured from it's final outlet into Falls Lake. Every year since then Riverdave has led a pilgrimage to this special spot to renew our commitment to nourish and protect the Eno River. 2 pm Meeting Place to be announced - look for directions here.
Our Sunday hikes continue from March through early May with a wildflower theme. Click here for more info.
