Notes from the Field In Search of Fish Dam Road In March and April, 2004 Joe Liles, an art teacher at the NC School of Science and Mathematics, is leading his students on a ten day intensive investigation of Fish Dam Road. They are investigating the old road bed, historical activities along the road and the people who live there. Over the course of the intensive the students will engage in field work, interviews and creative efforts to capture the road as it exists today. You can follow their progress day by day here.
