iWalk the Eno Science & Nature Summer Camp helps children learn & grow in nature’s classroom. The camp is located in Orange and Durham counties at Eno River State Park and West Point on the Eno City Park. The parks offer many opportunities to camp, hike, & splash in a natural wonderland.
Kids Come Alive at iWalk the Eno
Our program offers a fun, discovery-focused experiential learning program. We place an emphasis on helping kids develop skills in science, respect for each other and the natural environment, and confidence in getting out & asking their own questions.
If your child is ages 8-12, please apply today for iWalk the Eno Summer Camp!
iWalk the Eno Summer Camp
June 13-17: Eno River Rangers
This is the ‘classic’ iWalk camp- lots of time outdoors, exploring nature, doing science, and becoming an Eno River State Park Junior Ranger. We recommend this week for younger kids, first-time iWalk campers, and those who just want to discover the Eno!
June 20-24: Eno Magic-Science & Nature of Harry Potter
New in 2016! We are bringing a little magic to iWalk the Eno- but don’t worry, we will still be spending our days exploring the Eno and learning about nature. Classes like Herbology, the Care & Keeping of Magical Creatures, Potions, and more will teach kids about the magic of the Eno River. We recommend this week for returning campers, older kids (ages 10-12 recommended but the camp is fine for younger kids, too), and kids with a great imagination and sense of magic.
