The ENO Journal originated as the Association’s newsletter and was published semi-annually. After the appearance of a quarterly newsletter, the Journal evolved into a more academic publication focused on the environment, culture, and history of the Eno River basin. Publication frequency of the Journal in this manifestation has always been unpredictable. Association founder, Margaret Nygard, may have best described the Journal when she wrote:”From time to time, when opportunity permits and we have the money, the Association produces the ENO Journal… as a special gift to our membership.”
The following table provides the contents of the issues of the Journal published to date. We are in the process of digitizing the journals. Follow any links for on-line content and check back for updates. Printed copies of some issues are available. Email the Association office or call (919) 620-9099 for availability and cost.
