Due to the impacts of Tropical Depression Chantal, several parks, preserves, and trails along the Eno River have been closed as staff work to assess and remediate the damage.

Driveway Access: The driveway to the upper parking lot and McCown-Mangum House staff parking will be open. Shelter Rentals: Both shelters are available for rental through October 31. Restrooms: Restrooms remain closed for repairs; however, porta-johns are available along the sidewalk between the parking lot and the McCown-Mangum House. River Access: Riverbank access is temporarily restricted while new grass seed is being established. |
