Durham Creek Week is March 14-21, 2020!
Activities will be available throughout the Triangle to inform residents about our local creeks, rivers, and lakes and about how to keep them healthy. Join a litter clean-up, go on a canoe adventure, and visit any of our nearby nature preserves. The Eno River Association is proud to support Creek Week with several events:
Clean-up along Black Meadow Branch at West Point on the Eno
Saturday, March 14 – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Join us for some litter clean-up at West Point on the Eno Durham City Park.
Snacks, gloves, and other materials will be provided. Bring your own water bottle. Location is off the main loop road. Please drive around the gravel loop road past the mill and restrooms until you find the Eno River Association sign and staff.

Willie Duke’s Bluffs Wildflower Hike
Sunday, March 15 – 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This hike will lead participants to a noteworthy natural area called Willie Duke’s Bluff where we’ll see outstanding displays of spring wildflowers, including some that are rare and unusual in our area of the Piedmont.
This hike is somewhat difficult and will be off trail, with some bushwhacking and one steep climb.
