We’re celebrating another fun summer on the Eno with our camp students from iWalk the Eno Science and Nature Camp and Eno River Field Station! This year, we engaged 184 youth, ages 8-15, in outdoor environmental education activities at Eno River State Park, West Point on the Eno City Park, and the Confluence Natural Area. Spending time exploring outdoors in the summer creates core memories for many of us, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the memories made by the youth in our community this year. Until next summer, we look forward to returning to our public school programming, guided hikes, and other public education events along the Eno!
We extend our sincere gratitude to our summer camp funders: Burroughs Wellcome Fund, Harris and Frances Block Foundation, Duke Energy Foundation, Triangle Fly Fishers, and Durham County ARPA funding.
