Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the grand opening of our Confluence Natural Area, just north of downtown Hillsborough. It is now open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from dawn till dusk. It is closed and locked during the week. For more information, see our new ‘Visit Us’ page.
With the help of over 400 committed volunteers to paint faces, pour drinks, tighten ropes, mold clay, model t-shirts, sort compost, manage stages, sell tickets, and so much more, the 2018 Festival for the Eno is now in the books! The recent cold weather brought a dusting of snow to the Eno, along with hikers, sledders, runners and the occasional skater; taking advantage of a unique opportunity to explore the river.
On December 19 the Eno River Association added 22.6 acres to its 180-acre Confluence Natural Area in Orange County, and at the same time accepted the donation of a permanent Conservation Easement on an additional 19 acres. Click here to read more.
